The party is always a place for everyone.

You are free to be yourself, bring your partner of any gender and present yourself however you feel comfortable.*

The toilets at the party are not gendered but are separated by whether they have urinals or cubicles;  You're welcome to use whichever one is more convenient for you. **

We wouldn't knowingly invite anyone to the party who isn't a lovely, accepting and kind person but if anyone does upset you with something they say, then please do let us know and we'll deal with it.

everything is accepted at the party except intolerance***

Whilst we're on the subject, let's talk about karaoke.  Anyone who's been to the party will know that karaoke is a big part of it.  But... that doesn't mean there's pressure for everyone to sing.  I may ask you if you're the kind of person who sings, but I can promise that you won't have anyone trying to talk you into it.  It's your party to enjoy your way, and if you want to watch others singing, then that's fine.

If you are watching other people... be kind.  Some people are better singers than others, and that's fine.  Everyone is welcome, and everyone is welcome to sing.  give applause and support to everyone who's brave enough to stand up there and do a song.  It's about having fun; this isn't the X-FaCtor.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, we've worked hard to make the party a space where people can relax and be themselves and not feel judged.  I value that feeling at the party more than anything else, and if you start behaving like a🍆, then you're not going to be invited back and we may even book you a taxi there and then :-)

Right, that's my rant over with. Just be kind to everyone, and we'll all be fine!

(* I once received a useful tip from a friend which.I'll pass on... if you want to wear a skirt on a bouncy castle or giant slide, then cycling shorts are the best modesty-preserver as they cover everything up with no vpl.  You're welcome.)

(** pun absolutely intentional)

(*** and people bring who dogs, we don't accept that.  Or cats.  In fact, just don't bring any pets)
